The Questions
Here are the questions Sean answered:
- Why do I always let everyone else come first and there is no time for my wants and goals?
I want to be in DIQ but I let my family always come first - babysitting grandchildren so my daughter doesn't have to miss a day of work, taking Aunts and Moms and Dads to doctor appointments, etc. Next thing you know another day goes by and no time for my MK business. - When recruiting people, how do you help them overcome their limiting beliefs as objections?
- I want to quit my day job but find myself holding off for the fear of failure in my business. I've been doing well for the past 10 years in my MK business but for some reason when I go to make the decision to leave my day job I'm scared. Please help me as I know you can~~ It because of you I'm where I'm am in my business but I think I need a tune up from the neck up!!! Thank you for believing in me~
- What is the best way to find THE goal that I would be the most passionate about?
- How can I avoid choking or being stuck?
- I have many questions and I have the answers to many of them but I just don't follow through. I think my biggest problem is that I lack self confidence and my deserve level is low. How can I kick myself in the rear to get my business going and make it where it becomes urgent in my life? I am not disciplined - how can I develop this necessary skill? This is just a few. Do have the magic wand to wave over me where one morning I can wake up and suddenly I am living the life I have always dreamed of having? I am looking forward to hearing some of your suggestions.
- I want to know, how I know I am with the right company. I keep avoiding simple tasks, like making sales calls, following up with people once they do buy, and basically growing it in general. I recoil and procrastinate all over the place. I also find myself jealous of those going faster, and wishing I had a different income, but yet FREEZE when it comes to any action.
- My question is about recruiting. I don't know how to start, or how to approach it. I don't seem to have the words. I hope you can help me with this problem.
- I just can't seem to get my head in the right place to actually get out and do things for my MK business. I used to work hard but being off work on maternity leave for 1 year and then deciding not to go back has made me soft. I have financial needs but it just doesn't seem enough to get me out of my rut!
- Do you still teach the “mirror exercise”? Would you review self talk, goal posters, dream books?
- How do I overcome my fears of limiting beliefs and fear of success?
- 3 part question:
- When I have a ton of leads I still need to call, is it still good to get new leads each day/week anyway?
- Is it bad for me to feel like I want to either give product away or give a big discount to a customer of mine if they are experiencing hard times even though I am struggling myself?
- I LOVE listening to coaches like yourself and I have invested thousands of dollars on career/life coaches in the past just to realize no one can help me do something I already know that I "should" be doing. I know I need to apply what I have been taught and be more accountable to myself. I am improving and I am still very tempted to purchase more programs out there even though I currently don't have the resources other than credit cards which I am trying to be more accountable in that area too. Is it wise to continue building my library anyway?
- I debate if I should even continue in my direct sales business. I allow myself to be overwhelmed and distracted by the seemingly endless stream of: new promotions and contests, sales tips, motivational messages, career advancement pushes. I've long since lost touch with all the reasons why I came into the company in the first place. So I guess my question is: How can someone wade through all this "clutter" to find (or get back in touch) with her compelling reasons for building her business and FOCUS JUST ON THAT? Without being distracted?
- How do I commit to my goals? I know why I should achieve these goals, but at the end of the day, I still don't do what I should towards achieving the goal. Then I am disappointed in myself and wanting to isolate from those who can hold me accountable. I'm a mom of 8 kids, a wife and I want to be a top leader in my company but, when I identify why, it sounds like it's for my family, team members or community of women who need what I have to offer. I still don't know why for myself alone I MUST achieve the goal and so I slack. But I don't want to! How do I change this?!
- I would like to overcome my fear of rejection. I know what I need to do to succeed in my business, but I am not doing those activities. Please help!
- How do you keep on track with all the tools you give us to help with the "Recipe for Recovery"? I mean we talk and I do good 1 day and the next I get off track. How do you stay consistent with it? I know the things to do but it seems like there is soooo much other stuff going on that I feel like a tornado sucks me in sometimes.
- How do you figure out your focus and how do you incorporate that into real life when you have financial obligations? I've spent the last 4 years going in too many directions and am feeling the burnout. I work full-time, do 4-6 parties a month on the weekends and go to college part-time online (2 classes at-a-time.) I feel as if I'm getting no where fast ...How do I get out of the vicious circle and just get a healthy work/family balance??
- Why is it that I know what I need to do, and I can start out great, but I fizzle out after a few weeks? I don't know if I am scared of success, scared of failure or just plain lazy!
- What do you think about the Mary Kay opportunity and Direct Sales?
- Finding out what people want...
