Gratitude is defined as thankfulness, being full of thanks. One of the best tools I've learned to increase happiness is to keep a gratitude journal.

I write down what I'm thankful for, and it causes me to focus on all the good things in my life. When I'm focused on the good things, I attract more good things in my life.

In my journey as a coach, one of the key concepts I use is to help people give gratitude for their past - no matter how bad or hard or difficult their past may be.

There are reasons to be full of thanks for the experiences you've had, as they have made you the person you are today. And you are a gift to the world.
