Golden Nugget Call - Permission to Succeed

Date:
Wed, 05/23/2012 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Have you given yourself permission to succeed?

Most people answer would answer yes, because who would stop themselves from success?  While giving ourselves permission to succeed sounds like something we should all inherently do, the reality is most people are unknowingly holding themselves back and blocking success beause they haven't agreed to it.

Why would we do that?

Well, we don't do it on purpose, but it does happen for a purpose - protection.  Your unconscious mind works very hard to protect you from what it perceives to be potential danger.  All too often the success we seek contains the very same thing that we're afraid of, but that fear is hidden and ignored because it's illogical.  We all want success, right?

WRONG.

  • If success means you'll be in front of more people & that scares you at any level, then you'll sabotage your success until you find a way to give yourself permission to be in front of people.

  • If success means having more money and at some level you think money is evil, then you'll never have more money than you need.  (So many of us grew up hearing the phrase "Money is the root of all evil," and many of us bought into it.)

There are many more scenarios than this, but I don't want to focus on the problem.  I'd rather focus on the solution. How can you give yourself permission to succeed? There are several aspects of the phrase, permission to succeed, that are important to look at:

  1. What is permission?  How can you give yourself the authority to achieve your dreams?

  2. What is success?  How do you define it?  What does it look like?  How will you know when you've achieved success?

  3. Knowing what success is to you, and what fears you may be hiding, what might be standing in your way of success?

Join me on the call and we'll discuss how to give yourself permission to succeed.  Your goals must be aligned with your values in order for you to really give yourself permission to go after and get them, so we'll go over how to make that happen.

I hope to hear you on the call!
